FAQ

How do we get here?

We are the big glass building in the centre of Cefn Mawr opposite The Holly Bush Inn.

We do not have private parking but there are two car parks a VERY short walk away at either end of the village:

Crane Street Car Park, Cefn Mawr, LL14 3AD – Free Parking all week at all times (38 spaces / 3 disabled spaces)

Well Street Car Park, Cefn Mawr, LL14 3AE – Free Parking all week at all times (24 Spaces)

Why don't you have private parking?

The reason the parking is limited is that our village streets still retain the original character from the days of when we had narrow gauge railways and horse drawn vehicles.

This adds to the appeal of our post-industrial village centre dating back to the construction of the Pontcysyllte Aqueduct.

Parking at the Pontcysyllte World Heritage Site Visitor Centre is limited however our village centre has several parking lots that are all free of charge.

These are only a short walk from the Ebenezer Chapel, the new home of the Pontcysyllte World Hertiage Site Visitor Centre & Ebenezer Gallery.

I don't drive, what about public transport?

As we also host a Climate Crisis Mitiggation Centre, we encourage the use of Public Transport.

Our village did used to have its own Railway Station but unfortunately it has been closed. We are campaigning however to bring it back again and are working to get a Park & Ride facility available soon.

If you choose to come by public transport the nearest rail station is Ruabon Station and if you come by bus you catch the 2/2A/2C from Wrexham.

How do I enquire about hosting a class or workshop?

The best way to get a hold of us at the moment is via our email address: ebenezergallerycefnmawr@gmail.com  or send us a DM via our Facebook Page or other socials.
